Visual Medium

After looking back on my opinion that children should be vaccinated, I came up with a visual medium that would be way out of my skill level or ability to have an article about my topic published in Parenting magazine. I would write an article that contains the reasons for vaccinations, the risks that come with it, and all the benefits to the community and the child. I would use it because the magazine is helpful tips or advice to parents, so they could see how important it is and that other parents are getting their children vaccinated. It is also a good choice because it goes directly to the source which is the mothers to children who need to be vaccinated. I came up with this trying to think how I could reach multiple mothers and that they would see this information and actually take it into consideration. They might take advice from a parenting magazine than someone who doesn’t haven’t a child telling them what to do. This is not a reasonable choice for me because I’m not an editor of a magazine and I have no relationship with anyone who works with magazines, so it would be very hard to get a whole article published in a big magazine. A more realistic idea would be to write a blog on a website that gives advice to new parents or just parents who want to see what other parents are doing. Overall, the information has to be going directly to mothers so they can see helpful information not only for their children, but also for the whole community and to help keep the community safe from awful diseases. Hopefully if a lot of mothers take this advice we can eradicate diseases and the community will become a better place especially for those who cannot be vaccinated.
