Syllabus

The Syllabus represents a contract between myself, my class, and the administration. It's an agreement made at the start of the semester on how the class will function, from beginning to end. If any major changes are found to be necessary, it will be clearly noted and forewarned, both here and in class.

The Aemulus
The Aemulus is a unique feature of this class, and an exercise in practicing agonistic rhetoric. You will be assigned a dedicated Aemulus, or rival, who you will be striving against for the rest of the semester. You will read each others' papers and write counter arguments in response.
