Gaines_Progress Report

My Rhetoric project went very well because I am finished. I was able to not only add my own points and sources, but also add in a Youtube video that supports my argument with clips of schools that display the situation very well. The music I chose for this project was also a very big decision because I needed something that was not dark; but had a dark tone to it. The music in the Youtube video inspired me to make my own music for my part of the project on Garageband that had mood changes to suit the feel of the topic. This is because many will have differing opinions from many different angles when it comes to school funding, so having moody music will hopefully draw in those who initially see the topic from the other side. The graphs and facts added before the video set the stage for the audience to fully grasp the gaps in our education system that are not usually seen. My project ended up being within the time constraints and was also on the low end. This I feel is effective for a commercial feel because if it was too long many could become un-interested. This project was very interesting to construct due to the passion I have for the areas I was researching.
