Looking back at my video, there are definitely some changes that I could have made to make the video more appealing and ultimately more effective. Some things are visual, and others are behind the scenes. I wish I had just spent more time working with iMovie before just diving into this project, as well as using a better camera to record.
The music I chose was very different from each other, and it was extremely difficult to have it mesh together. Maybe if I had edited the songs together on Garage Band and used the edited version, it would have made a difference in the sound during the video. If I had spent more time working on the songs or choosing songs that had similar tunes, then the transition would have been more smooth and would have been definitely less noticeable.
Another thing that would have made my video more effective would have been if I had more girls talking rather than a longer introduction. Although I thought my introduction montage really showed a lot of different aspects of girls, it would have been more effective if I had more personal counts. If I had spent more time recording and being more active in getting others to be in my video, this could have been revised.
Looking back, I would have changed my 2nd question because I think it was more confusing than it was effective. I wanted the question to be engaging, but I understood why it created confusing. If I wanted my audience to think better about themselves, then the girls should have answered what they loved about themselves in order to get my message across.
Finally, I would like to inform my audience that although men suffer from poor body image as well, I wanted to focus on the female demographic because they are the ones that are the most affected by negative body image.
