Progress Report

I have currently not started recording my video, unfortunately. This is because I’m a little stumped on how to approach recording it. My video requires recording in a public area or a highly populated one, and I’m a little frightened by the prospect of shooting in front of strangers. I also haven’t found a person to play the lead, that person preferably being an older male. I am currently planning to change my approach to the video, perhaps even the entire structure, to make ease of filming more practical. I will likely keep the general tone, atmosphere, and pathos goal intact, that being to emulate the sensory experience of a victim of solitary confinement. If that doesn’t go as planned, I might switch to either a more documentary or directly informative style. I have also been extremely stressed for time as of this week, as I have two projects including the video, one essay, and a test all due on the same week, sprinkled with several smaller assignment. means I haven’t been able to spend much time on the assignment. I am planning to spend a minimum of two days working on the assignment, perhaps one day filming and the other day editing through iMovie. On the technical level, I am not proficient at iMovie whatsoever and am not too sure if I will be able to successfully implement post-processing effects to my video. On a positive note I have found several useful royalty-free sound and music sights for use on my video.
