Project Changes

If I were to go back and edit my Rhetoric Project, there would be both surface and structural revisions made in my video. Looking at the video now, at the surface level, I would want to change the text I put in my video. The text in my video simple and white and was over a black background. Thinking about it now, it seems to be boring and does not engage the viewer. Along with the text change, I would want to change my audio choice for the video. I had the video's audio in such a way where it was a collection of broken, random audio clips ranging from songs to office background noise. Rewatching the video, I do not like the broken clips. Instead, I would go back and find music that is consistent throughout the whole video. I feel that that would have more impact on the viewer.
Structurally, I would want to change a few things, maybe even start over again. My video now was made in such a way where it is similar to a story or skit. There isn't much of a "call to action" pointed out in the video. It is made of clips telling a story of how businesses and influencers benefitted and lost money through new changes made by social media companies. If I were to edit the video again, I think I would want to choose a route that is a lot more convincing to the viewers and clearly points out what the viewers should be doing to make the change. I would keep the first minute of my video, but maybe I would add a voice-over of the impact the video had on the child. Towards the end, I would add the change needed and how to do it. As for the length, I think what I have now is fine. If it were any longer, viewers would likely exit out and not watch the video entirely.
