Progress Report

For my Rhetoric Project, I have figured out my plan for the video and I have looked into video editing. My plan is very similar to the plan laid out in MWA 3 but has additional details added. For instance, the text displayed in the video will be of a font that mimics handwriting. This way, the message will seem more personally written and will not feel as "uptight". For video editing, I need to download an application since I do not have a mac. What I plan on doing for the most part is editing different clips together and placing the audio narration over the length of the full video. On the screen, the text will accompany and supplement the narration. Upbeat but soft background music will play so as not to distract from the main point of the video. As for the length of the video, I am hoping that it will last around 2 minutes but I have not quite figured out the logistics regarding how much footage I can stretch out without making the video seem boring and overdrawn. I still need to film my friends acting as students with a teacher in a classroom before and after the change occurs. Then, I need to edit all the pieces together so that it all makes sense. I am nervous about the short amount of time I have left to complete the project but I am hopeful that if I set my mind to it, I will successfully complete the video.
