For this assignment I have done the following things. Currently, I have done all of my research for footage that I plan on using during my video. I have all the scenes that I wish to include in the video, now all I have to do is materialize them. I must compact all these scenes in iMovie and cut them in a way that appears seamless. Scenes from the first part of the video include videos of icebergs rapidly melting, dying polar bears, smog in urban environments, and sad children. The second part of the video will show scenes of electric cars driving in vibrant environments and generally areas of great beauty, as well as imagery of happy children. Most importantly, I have to put these scenes in an order that tells a story and captures my viewers.
Now all I have to do is pick a few facts about Global Warming from my research in my Dissoi Logoi. I will also have to voiceover these facts, to make the video more personable. I have put some thought on whether I will use my own voice, or a voice generator that has more of a narrators voice. Also I have found music that I would like for both parts of my video. For this first part I will be using a slow and depressing song, to align with my imagery of global warming. For the second part, I will have more uplifting and vibrant music to detail how the electric car is the solution to the issue.
