Schimpf- video progress

In preparation for my Rhetoric Project I have found a number of clips I would like to include in my video. Some of the videos are about rescue dogs' stories, which show the progress that the families and dogs have made. Some of the videos are just short clips of people getting dogs and showing how happy they all are. Other videos show the bad side of puppy mills and breeders. I would like to compile all of this footage in a way that appeals to the watchers. This will require me to export the footage I have found online to iMovie so I can stitch clips together. I would also like to have some voiceovers of additional rescue stories playing in the background, and also have cheerful music to set the right mood. My audience is everyone. Whether or not they are planning on getting a dog in the first place, I want to make the watchers want to adopt a dog. If I have success with that, I will need to get the point across that rescuing dogs is the best option for adoption. I think having a rhyming tagline in the video like that will help them remember, even after it is over. In order to convince them to rescue, I will use pathos, logos, and ethos. This will be executed with a combination of video clips, statistics, and music. The main point I need to make is that breeders/pet stores/puppy mills are bad and rescuing from shelters is good. I've used iMovie many times before this project, but only for fun. I've used it to put together short videos of footage I've taken to summarize the memories of vacations, conferences, camps, events, etc. This project is different for me because I won't be using any of my own footage.
