Introducing Me - Madeline Meyer

My name is Madeline Meyer and I am from a small town outside of Chicago called Morris. Most people have no idea where this is even if they are from Chicago, but it’s fine because every fall we have a thing called corn fest where we celebrate the year’s harvest and they always have killer food. It takes around four hours to drive to Saint Louis from my town which is just far enough for me. My family consists of my mom, dad, older sister, and the cutest little dog. I am majoring in nursing and I have an older sister who is a junior at SLU and is also majoring in nursing.


I live on the third floor of grand hall, which is a very convenient location on campus because it’s right next to the bus stop for med campus that I have to go to three times a week. I am on the dance team at SLU which is my favorite thing to do to make myself forget about the stress of school. I am also a member of the sorority Gamma Phi Beta which I love. My sister is also in the same sorority and she has introduced me to so many cool people. These activities keep me busy, but that’s a good thing because I don’t think I would know what to do with myself if I had my nights off. I am looking forward to the rest of the semester of my freshman year and can’t wait to see what it has in store for me.
