Who I am-Caroline

            I am Caroline Barnes. Some basic things about me are: I am a huge animal lover. I have six cats and two dogs, but no I am not a crazy cat lady. I am a Political Science major, I love politics and debate. I am also minoring in History because it has just always interested me. Saint Louis University was my first choice for college and I am incredibly happy with my choice. I really enjoy writing and sharing my thoughts, I actually have my own personal blog. I am on track to graduate in three years, which excites me yet stresses me out at the same time. I am in a sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, a Billiken Buddy, and apart of Chi Alpha.

            I come from a pretty small family, made up of my Dad, Mom, and my older brother, Alex. My older brother and I are five years apart but we are very similar people. We share a lot of beliefs about social issues which really helps us bond. I am from a town only forty minutes away from SLU, which is something I really love because I can see my family whenever I want to.

            Something that really makes me who I am is that I am a proud feminist and love anything and everything about women’s rights. I am obsessed with women’s issues especially in politics. I hope one day I can work as a Human’s Rights Lawyer and help fight for equality for all genders.
