My name is Katie Seidenglanz and I am from Waukesha, Wisconsin. My mom is from the Chicago area and my dad is from San Diego, so I don't understand why they decided to live in Wisconsin. It is a pretty small town near Milwaukee and its two claims to fame are the Slender Man girls and Nick from The Bachelor. I am mostly Irish and a little bit Polish, German and Italian. I also spend a lot of time in the Chicago area because that is where most of my relatives are from. Two of my cousins and my sister attend SLU and another one of my cousins will be attending next year. I am a freshman in the physical therapy program and I live in Reinert as part of the health sciences learning community on the 9th floor. I plan to minor in psychology but I am also very interested in philosophy and Spanish.
In my free time, I like playing sports, watching sports and hanging out with my friends. I did poms, figure skating and tennis in high school, but rugby was my favorite because it is very unique and I played for three years. My team won state twice and placed fourth at nationals all three years which was really cool. I also like skiing, snowboarding and ice skating in the winter. I am probably the biggest Packers fan after my dad, and they will be Super Bowl champions next year for sure. I like exploring around St. Louis and watching movies with my friends, trying different food places and going on vacation. My family has a condo in Gulf Shores, Alabama and I am looking forward to going to Hangout Fest after finals are over this year. I really like going to concerts, and a lot of times I wonder where all my money goes but in reality I know that it goes towards tickets.
