My name is Jacob Morton and I am from Creve Coeur, Missouri, around a twenty minute drive from SLU. I've only moved once in my life, and that was from St. Ann, Missouri just before my first birthday, so I've been in the area for a long time. I have a younger brother who is a junior in high school at Parkway Central High in Chesterfield, MO, and he has no intentions of coming to SLU sadly. I'm a freshman and I live in Reinert on the seventh floor as part of the life sciences learning community. I'm a biology major with a pre-medicine focus, but have been debating a switch to dentistry, following in my dad's footsteps.
I'm lead an active lifestyle, so many of my pastimes involve athletics. I swam and played volleyball during high school, and my dad raised me to be an avid skier and snowboarder from a young age. I've continued playing volleyball on one of the club teams here at SLU, and playing is a weekly highlight. I also enjoy reading fiction and watching movies, but I avoid horror content like the plague. I primarily listen to classic rock music, but I also enjoy some rap artists and modern bands. My favorite place to vacation is Colorado because it is beautiful year-round and has so many activities available. I love Italian food and ice cream, so having the Hill and Ted Drewes close by is a blessing on earth.
